Association of Moral Theologians of India (AMTI)

was founded in 1988. The membership is open to (a) those who have a post- graduate degree in moral theology or (b) those who are regularly teaching Moral Theology in a recognized faculty or in a major seminary.
The association has been regularly meeting annually since its foundation.
Objectives:
(a) to be a forum for moral theologians to meet and discuss current moral issues;
(b) to promote Christian ethical reflection in the socio-cultural context of India;
(c) to foster publication of books or monographs useful to students of theology and to the Church in India at large.
